EVM008

Smarter AC Charging for Commercial Sites

One Charger for Different Charging Needs

Commercial charging projects rarely follow one standard configuration. Some sites need 7 kW charging for long-stay parking. Others need 11 or 22 kW to serve more vehicles during the working day. Some operators prefer socket versions for flexibility, while others need integrated cables for a simpler driver experience.EVM008 provides multiple power, connector, communication and authentication options within one product platform. This allows installers and charging operators to configure the charger around the electrical supply, parking duration, user access requirements and backend platform of each site.
Flexible Access for Every Charging Site
The Right Charging Speed for Every Site
Accurate Energy Data for Commercial Billing
Two Versions for Different User Needs

Smart Authentication

Flexible Access for Every Charging Site

Support RFID cards, App-based access through a compatible CPO platform and optional ISO 15118 Plug & Charge. Operators can configure convenient access for private, workplace and public charging scenarios.

Flexible Power

The Right Charging Speed for Every Site

Choose 7 kW single-phase or 11 kW and 22 kW three-phase charging to match the site’s electrical supply, vehicle parking time and daily charging demand.

MID Metering

Accurate Energy Data for Commercial Billing

The integrated MID-certified meter provides precise energy measurement for charging records, cost allocation and commercial billing. Non-MID versions are also available for projects where certified metering is not required.

Socket or Cable

Two Versions for Different User Needs

Choose a Type 2 socket for greater cable flexibility or a cable version with an integrated 5-metre Type 2 cable for a simpler, more convenient charging experience.

Smart Energy Integration

EVM008 can operate as part of a complete energy solution connecting solar generation, battery storage, commercial loads, EV charging and intelligent energy management. The system can prioritise available solar energy, coordinate charging demand and reduce pressure on the site’s electrical connection. A connected management platform gives operators a clearer view of charging activity and overall site-energy use.

Lower Energy Costs

Coordinate charging with solar generation, battery storage and lower-tariff periods to reduce expensive grid-energy use.

Flexible Deployment

Choose from 7, 11 or 22 kW output, socket or cable versions and wall or pedestal installation to match different sites.

Accurate Operations

MID-certified metering, backend connectivity and multiple authentication methods support transparent commercial charging management.

Scalable Charging

OCPP connectivity allows multiple EVM008 chargers to be managed through one platform and expanded as demand grows.

FAQ

What is EVM008?

EVM008 is a commercial AC EV charger available in 7, 11 and 22 kW versions.

It supports Type 2 socket or cable configurations and can connect to a charging-management platform through OCPP.

What is the difference between the 7, 11 and 22 kW versions?

The 7 kW model uses single-phase power at 32 A.

The 11 kW model uses three-phase power at 16 A, while the 22 kW version uses three-phase power at 32 A.

The actual charging speed also depends on the vehicle’s onboard AC charger.

Should I choose the socket or cable version?

The socket version allows drivers to use their own Type 2 charging cable.

The cable version includes a fixed 5-metre Type 2 cable, which is often more convenient for everyday commercial use.

What is the difference between the MID and non-MID versions?

The MID version includes a certified energy meter designed for accurate commercial billing and energy reporting.

The non-MID version may be suitable for private or internal charging where certified billing measurement is not required.

Does EVM008 support OCPP?

Yes. It supports OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1.

This allows integration with compatible charging-management platforms.

Does it support Plug & Charge?

ISO 15118 Plug & Charge is available as an optional feature.

Actual operation also depends on the vehicle, backend platform, certificate system and project configuration.

How can users start charging?

Users can start charging through RFID, App access through a third-party CPO or optional Plug & Charge.

Does EVM008 include Wi-Fi?

The available options include Wi-Fi 4 at 2.4 GHz and Wi-Fi 6 at 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Is it suitable for apartment parking?

Yes, particularly when combined with MID metering, RFID access and an OCPP backend.

What is the warranty?

The datasheet specifies a 36-month limited warranty.
