Electric Bus Charging Solutions for Public Transit
THE CHALLENGE
Public Transit Cannot Afford Charging Disruptions
Fixed Operating Schedules
Buses must complete charging before departure. A delayed or undercharged vehicle can disrupt an entire route schedule.
High Simultaneous Demand
When multiple buses return to the depot together, unmanaged charging can create significant power peaks and exceed available site capacity.
Limited Charging Windows
Overnight charging may cover regular operations, but intensive routes and multi-shift services may also require rapid charging during the day.

FAQ
What type of solar module is the GCL-NT12R/66GDF?
It is an N-type monocrystalline bifacial solar module with a double-glass construction. It generates electricity from direct sunlight on the front and reflected light reaching the rear side.
What power ratings are available?
A: We provide AC chargers ranging from 7.4 kW to 22 kW.
1. 7.4 kW (single-phase): Ideal for locations with limited grid capacity.
2. 22 kW (three-phase): Best for commercial parking areas with high turnover.
We can help evaluate your site’s power supply to choose the optimal solution.
What is the maximum module efficiency?
The 625W version reaches module efficiency of up to 23.14% under Standard Test Conditions.
How much additional power can the rear side produce?
Rear-side output depends on ground reflectivity, module height, row spacing, tilt angle and other installation conditions. With 10% rear irradiance, the 625W model can reach a combined output of up to 675.2W.
Is this module suitable for residential rooftops?
The module is primarily positioned for utility-scale, commercial and industrial solar projects because of its large 2382 × 1134mm format and 32.6kg weight. Suitability for a particular rooftop must be determined through structural, handling and system-design assessments.
Can the module be used with battery storage and EV charging systems?
Yes. It can be integrated as the solar generation component of a system that includes compatible inverters, battery storage, EV chargers and an energy management platform.
